Job Description

We are looking for a diligent Survey Technician to join our Bloemfontein team. The ideal candidate will assist with field surveys, data collection, and analysis to ensure accurate measurements and reports.

Responsibilities

• Execute land surveys and data collection activities.
• Interpret and apply legal descriptions and site plans.
• Coordinate with local authorities for project permits and licenses.
• Help troubleshoot surveying issues encountered in the field.
• Stay updated on new surveying technologies and techniques.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Surveying or related field
• BTech in Surveying preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in surveying or related field

Technical Skills

• Total Station Operation
• GPS Technology
• Survey Data Analysis

Soft Skills

• Attention to Detail
• Communication Skills

Certifications

• Professional Land Surveyor Certification (PLS)
• Construction Surveying Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with CAD Software: Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar software for creating plans.
• Knowledge of Building Codes: Understanding of local building codes and regulations.
