Job Description

As an Employment Law Specialist, you will handle a variety of legal tasks related to employment law, including drafting legal documents, conducting research, and supporting our attorneys in case preparation. The ideal candidate will have a keen understanding of South African employment legislation and a passion for legal work.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze employment documents for compliance.
• Support legal team in the preparation of employment law cases.
• Assist in the drafting of legal correspondence with clients.
• Manage and organize case files and documentation.
• Engage in client consultations to explain legal processes.
• Conduct research on industry standards related to employment law.
• Participate in client meetings and take notes for follow-up.
• Assist with training and workshops related to employment law.
• Monitor legal resources and provide updates to the team.
• Prepare reports on legal research findings.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Law or related field
• Paralegal qualifications are advantageous

• 3+ years of experience in employment law or as a paralegal
