We are seeking a skilled Corporate Lawyer to join our Johannesburg office. The ideal candidate will have comprehensive knowledge of corporate law and experience in advising businesses on legal regulations. You will play a crucial role in managing legal risks and ensuring compliance for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive legal advice to prevent legal issues.
• Support corporate clients with legal claims and disputes.
• Conduct compliance audits and risk assessments.
• Prepare reports on legal compliance for stakeholders.
• Advocate for clients in hearings, meetings, and other proceedings.
• Develop corporate policies and procedures.
• Facilitate workshops and training on legal compliance.
• Research case law to support legal strategies.
• Ensure confidentiality and data protection regulations are upheld.
• Maintain thorough records of all legal matters handled.

Requirements

Education

• LLB or equivalent legal qualification
• Specialized training in corporate law is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in corporate legal practice
