Job Description

As a General Construction Laborer, you'll play a vital role in our construction projects by assisting skilled workers and performing various tasks. Your responsibilities will include digging trenches, operating equipment, and adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Dig trenches and prepare sites for construction.
• Load and unload materials and supplies as needed.
• Assist in concrete pouring and finishing.
• Help in maintaining site cleanliness and organization.
• Operate machinery such as forklifts and backhoes.
• Adhere to all safety protocols on site.
• Support the construction team by performing various tasks.
• Ensure all materials are stored safely and securely.
• Learn from skilled tradespeople to develop your abilities.
• Report progress and issues to the supervisor.

Requirements

Education

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Experience in operating hand and power tools preferred.

Technical Skills

• Concrete pouring
• Heavy machinery operation

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Attention to detail

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in concrete pouring techniques: Knowledge of how to properly pour and finish concrete.
• Ability to read construction blueprints: Basic understanding of construction plans and specifications.
