Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Door Repairer. The successful candidate will be responsible for repairing and maintaining a variety of mechanical and electrical systems with an emphasis on efficiency and quality service.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical malfunctions and develop repair strategies.
• Oversee the installation of new systems and perform final checks.
• Coordinate with suppliers for necessary parts and equipment.
• Conduct safety checks on repaired equipment to ensure operational safety.
• Assist in developing preventive maintenance schedules.
• Actively participate in team meetings to discuss ongoing projects.
• Provide feedback on inventory needs for tools and repair parts.
• Promote a culture of safety and compliance within the workplace.

Requirements

Education

• National Senior Certificate (Matric)
• Relevant Trade Qualification

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in mechanical maintenance.

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic
