Responsibilities

• Provide expert legal advice and support across various departments.
• Review and draft various legal documents and agreements.
• Engage with external legal representation when necessary.
• Conduct risk assessments and identify potential legal issues.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure compliance.
• Assist in developing internal compliance programs.
• Prepare legal opinions and reports for management.
• Mentor and guide junior legal staff and interns.

Requirements

Education

• LLB degree or equivalent legal qualification
• Postgraduate degree in Law is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a law firm or legal department

Languages

• Afrikaans: Basic
