Job Description

We are seeking a Public Health Specialist to join our team in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning and implementing health campaigns, researching public health issues, and evaluating the effectiveness of health interventions. This position requires a deep understanding of community health dynamics and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement community health programs and initiatives.
  • Conduct health education workshops and training for community members.
  • Collect and analyze public health data to assess program impact.
  • Collaborate with local health officials and stakeholders to enhance public health services.
  • Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings to management.
  • Monitor and evaluate health indicators and outcomes in the community.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Social Sciences, or a related discipline
  • Master's degree in Public Health or related fields is an advantage
Experience
  • 5+ years of public health experience, with a focus on community health
