Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic Warehouse Supervisor to oversee our operations in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing warehouse staff, inventory control, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all aspects of warehouse operations.
• Ensure efficient layout and utilization of warehouse space.
• Conduct performance reviews and set goals for warehouse staff.
• Coordinate with suppliers and transporters for timely deliveries.
• Develop and enforce warehouse policies and procedures.
• Assist in budget preparation and cost control.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure high levels of customer service in all interactions.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Degree in Business Administration or related field is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in warehouse operations management

Technical Skills

• Forklift Operation
• Data Analysis

Certifications

• Certified Safety Manager

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of Health and Safety Regulations: Understanding of health and safety regulations applicable to warehouse operations.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Software: Hands-on experience with WMS systems for operational efficiency.
