Job Description

As a Youth Development Officer in Pretoria, you will be responsible for designing and implementing programs that support youth empowerment and social inclusion. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to create a positive environment that promotes personal growth and skill development.

Responsibilities

  • Design innovative youth empowerment initiatives tailored to local needs.
  • Collaborate with other departments to integrate youth services.
  • Host community events to showcase youth achievements.
  • Utilize social media for program promotion and recruitment.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory and funding requirements.
  • Establish partnerships with local businesses for sponsorship opportunities.
  • Act as a resource for youth-related inquiries in the community.
  • Recruit and train volunteers to assist with program implementation.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Youth Work, Social Sciences, or related field
  • A postgraduate degree is preferred
Experience
  • Experience in conducting community-based programs is preferred
