Construction Project Manager

Job Description

As a Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects in compliance with budget and schedule constraints. This role requires you to effectively manage resources and provide leadership to your team, while ensuring all project milestones are achieved to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of construction projects from planning to completion.
• Manage project budgets and ensure necessary resources are allocated efficiently.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, engineers, and architects to ensure timely delivery.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers and other stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality.
• Facilitate effective communication among all project stakeholders.
• Develop project schedules and adjust as necessary to meet deadlines.
• Prepare and present project reports to senior management.
• Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the project lifecycle.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in construction project management

Technical Skills

• Project Management Software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera)
• Construction Safety Standards

Soft Skills

• Leadership

Languages

• English: Fluent
