As a Physiotherapist in our Durban facility, you will be tasked with evaluating patients and formulating personalized rehabilitation plans. Your expertise will enable patients to regain strength and movement while promoting overall health and wellness. Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments using standardized tests and observational methods.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams for holistic patient management.
• Implement both passive and active therapeutic interventions as needed.
• Advise on ergonomic practices to prevent injuries in patients’ daily lives.
• Keep abreast of new therapeutic techniques and treatment modalities.
• Participate in quality improvement projects within the department.
• Educate patients about prevention and risk factors associated with their physical conditions.
• Monitor and evaluate patients’ responses to treatment, documenting changes.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior staff and students.
• Contribute to research projects and case studies within the department.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy or related field
• Master's degree in Physiotherapy is an advantage

Experience

• 2+ years of clinical experience in physiotherapy

• Manual Therapy

Soft Skills

• Empathy
• Communication

Certifications

• Registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)
• CPR and First Aid certified

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in sports rehabilitation: Hands-on experience in providing physical therapy for athletes.
• Knowledge of post-operative rehabilitation: Experience in rehabilitating patients post-surgery for optimal recovery.
