We are seeking a meticulous Quality Assurance Tester to join our dynamic team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in software testing methodologies and will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products. Your role will include developing test plans, executing tests, and documenting results to guarantee compliance with our high-quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead testing initiatives for new features and products.
• Ensure consistency in testing across all projects.
• Participate in daily stand-ups and scrum meetings.
• Create detailed reports of testing outcomes for stakeholders.
• Assist with training and onboarding of new QA team members.
• Keep up to date with industry trends and emerging testing tools.
• Conduct exploratory testing to identify potential issues.
• Work effectively in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or similar field
• Certification in automation testing is a plus

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in software testing and QA processes
