Sandfill Operator

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Sandfill Operator to operate and maintain equipment used in sandfilling activities. You will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient, safe, and compliant sandfill operations to support various construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy machinery for sandfilling while adhering to safety protocols.
• Conduct checks on equipment performance and report issues promptly.
• Ensure environmental protection measures are followed at all times.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to meet construction specifications.
• Assist in planning logistics for sand delivery and operational support.
• Lead efforts to enhance site efficiency and productivity.
• Maintain documentation including logs of sand operations and equipment status.
• Participate in safety meetings and contribute to a safety-first culture.
• Train junior staff on operational procedures and safety guidelines.

Requirements

Education

• Matriculation certificate or equivalent

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in the landfill or waste management industry is preferred.
