Job Description

Join our team as a Healthcare Administrator, where you will be responsible for daily administration within our healthcare institution in Pretoria. Your role will include optimizing workflows, ensuring regulatory compliance, and enhancing communication among staff and patients to foster a supportive healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

  • Promote a culture of compliance and ethical care.
  • Maintain relationships with stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Oversee recruitment and onboarding of administrative staff.
  • Conduct audits to ensure operational effectiveness.
  • Update and manage health record systems for efficiency.
  • Investigate and resolve complaints and issues.
  • Foster collaboration between clinical and non-clinical teams.
  • Prepare budgets and manage financial expenditures.
  • Countercheck billing procedures for accuracy.
  • Engage in continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Health Services Administration or related field
  • Master's degree in Public Health preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a healthcare setting
