Project Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a talented Project Manager to join our Johannesburg team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. You will coordinate the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all project phases from initiation to completion.
• Develop risk mitigation strategies during the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment.
• Manage project constraints regarding scope, quality, and time.
• Lead project kickoff meetings and ensure effective communication.
• Continuously assess and manage project risks and issues.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field
• PMP or PRINCE2 certification advantageous

Experience

• At least 7 years of experience managing projects

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with MS Project or equivalent tools: Proficiency in project management software to streamline processes.
