Job Description

As an Urban Planner at the Urban Development Agency, you will be instrumental in planning and executing urban development projects. Your role will involve collaborating with local authorities and community members to enhance urban living conditions while fostering economic growth and environmental sustainability.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, design, and oversee urban development projects.
  • Review and assess development proposals for compliance.
  • Communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including government officials and community groups.
  • Conduct site visits to evaluate conditions and gather data.
  • Provide recommendations for infrastructure improvements.
  • Ensure that urban plans comply with environmental and sustainability standards.
  • Support the implementation of urban design guidelines.
  • Conduct feasibility studies for proposed projects.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Urban Studies or Environmental Science
  • Master's degree in Urban Planning or related discipline is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in urban development or planning focusing on sustainability
