Job Description

As a Cybersecurity Specialist in our Pretoria office, you will be responsible for protecting our clients' information systems from cyber threats. Your expertise will guide the implementation of security measures, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations. You will work closely with IT teams to develop security policies and educate staff on best practices.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems for potential threats and vulnerabilities.
• Implement incident response plans and conduct drills.
• Evaluate new security technologies and tools for adoption.
• Support compliance initiatives with local and national regulations.
• Coordinate with external vendors for security assessments.
• Assess third-party risks and manage vendor security.
• Lead security awareness campaigns across the organization.
• Review and improve existing security measures.
• Maintain security logs and prepare incident reports.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance skills.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Cybersecurity or Information Security is preferred
• Relevant industry certifications are encouraged

• 5+ years of experience in information security roles
