Job Description

As a First-Line Supervisor of Mechanics, Installers, and Repairers, you will oversee a dedicated team responsible for maintaining our fleet of railroad cars. This role requires strong leadership skills and a commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operational meetings for the repair team.
• Evaluate technician performance and provide feedback.
• Assist in developing and implementing safety programs.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimal stock of repair parts.
• Coordinate with suppliers to manage the supply chain effectively.
• Document all maintenance records for compliance audits.
• Implement cost control measures within the maintenance department.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in railroad car repair and maintenance.
