Responsibilities

• Lead all event planning initiatives and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Implement creative concepts and solutions for various events.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and licensing requirements.
• Establish and manage relationships with vendors, venues, and stakeholders.
• Gather and analyze attendee feedback to enhance future events.
• Conduct market research to identify new event opportunities.
• Provide mentorship and support to junior event staff.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive network of industry contacts.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Event Management or related field

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in the hospitality or event industry

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational

Advantageous

• Knowledge of South African venues and suppliers: Familiar with local venues and vendor networks for sourcing services.
