Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Dentist to join our Centurion practice. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. You will be responsible for diagnosing oral diseases, developing treatment plans, and educating patients on their oral health.

Responsibilities

• Examine patients' teeth and gums; recognize abnormalities.
• Provide restorative treatments such as crowns and bridges.
• Communicate effectively with patients about their treatment options.
• Supervise and assist dental assistants and hygienists.
• Participate in health promotion and disease prevention discussions.
• Recruit and train new staff members.
• Contribute to a positive clinic culture and patient experience.
• Review and manage patient financial plans.
• Engage in continuing education opportunities.
• Participate in staff meetings and performance reviews.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) or equivalent dental qualification
• Specialization in Orthodontics or Oral Surgery is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a dental practice setting

Technical Skills

• Cosmetic Dentistry

Certifications

• Registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification
