Job Description

We are on the lookout for Material Moving Workers who will handle various logistics tasks, including pickups and deliveries. The ideal candidates will ensure efficient transportation of goods while maintaining high safety and service standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the timely and safe delivery of products to clients.
• Document all pickup and delivery activities accurately.
• Keep the delivery vehicle clean and in good working condition.
• Follow the prescribed routes and schedules.
• Resolve any delivery issues or delays promptly.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12 or equivalent

Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role

Technical Skills

• Excellent driving skills
• Vehicle maintenance knowledge

Soft Skills

• Good communication skills
• Time management

Certifications

• Valid PDP (Professional Driving Permit)
• Valid driver's license (Code 8)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational

Advantageous

• Experience with TMS (Transportation Management System): Familiarity with software tools for efficient logistics management.
• Knowledge of South African road systems: Understanding of traffic rules and routes specific to South Africa.
