DevOps Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer in Cape Town to enhance our operations by implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines, automating processes, and ensuring the reliability of our infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud services, system administration, and scripting.

Responsibilities

• Architect and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines.
• Automate deployment processes through advanced scripting.
• Ensure system reliability and availability through proactive monitoring.
• Coordinate with development teams to streamline workflows.
• Employ cloud services for scalable infrastructure management.
• Use container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes effectively.
• Maintain detailed documentation on system architecture and processes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
• Master's degree in IT or Engineering is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a DevOps role.
