Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker to join our team in Pretoria. In this role, you will provide support and services to individuals and families facing various challenges, including mental health issues, substance abuse, and domestic issues. You will be instrumental in developing care plans, connecting clients with resources, and advocating for their rights within the community.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough client assessments and interviews.
• Develop personalized care and intervention plans.
• Facilitate access to services and support systems.
• Promote psychosocial well-being through counseling and support.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and community organizations.
• Monitor clients' progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Participate in advocacy efforts for policy changes.
• Provide education on mental health and community resources.
• Supervise case management practices.
• Document and report on client outcomes and services.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or Sociology

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in social work or related services

• Counseling

Certifications

• Social Work License (if applicable)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational
