Clinical Researcher

Job Description

We are seeking a Clinical Researcher to join our Port Elizabeth team, responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing clinical trials. You'll work closely with medical professionals to collect and analyze data that contributes to medical advancements. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in clinical research methodologies, regulatory compliance, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and conduct clinical trials according to GCP guidelines.
• Recruit, screen, and enroll study participants.
• Monitor and analyze trial data for compliance and accuracy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure study protocol adherence.
• Prepare and submit regulatory documentation to ethics boards.
• Assist in preparing study reports and documentation.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Medicine, Life Sciences, or related field
• Master's degree in Clinical Research preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in clinical research or trials management

Technical Skills

• Statistical Software
• Clinical Trial Management Systems (CTMS)

Soft Skills

Certifications

• Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC)
• Ethics Training Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
