Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patient progress and respond to their needs effectively.
• Educate patients about their health conditions and management plans.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the nursing department.
• Support and mentor junior nursing staff and trainees.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a hospital setting

Technical Skills

• Medication Administration
• Patient Education

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Bilingual in English and Afrikaans: Ability to communicate in multiple languages is a plus.
• Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR): Familiarity with EHR systems enhances workflow efficiency.
