• Lead legal due diligence for corporate transactions.
• Advise clients on risk management and mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on complex transactions.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of all legal documents.
• Maintain strong professional relationships with clients.
• Participate in drafting policies and procedures for legal compliance.
• Engage with external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies and authorities.
• Prepare briefs for court appearances and arbitration processes.

• LLB or equivalent law degree
• Admitted attorney with the Legal Practice Council of South Africa
• Contract Law Extensive knowledge of contract law and negotiations.
• Corporate Governance Strong understanding of corporate governance principles.
• Dispute Resolution Experience in mediations and arbitration processes.
• Mergers and Acquisitions Expertise in handling mergers and acquisitions.
• Negotiation Exceptional negotiation skills for client representation.
• Analytical Thinking Strong analytical skills for assessing legal matters.
• Communication Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• English (Fluent)
• Afrikaans (Proficient)

• In-house experience: Experience working as in-house counsel within a corporate environment.
• Fluency in additional languages: Ability to communicate in multiple languages is an advantage.
