As a Grinding, Lapping, Polishing, and Buffing Machine Tool Setter, Operator, and Tender, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the finishing of metal and plastic surfaces to precise specifications. Your attention to detail and expertise in operating polishing equipment will contribute significantly to our production quality.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed inspections on finished products to ensure high-quality standards are met.
• Manage daily machine operations and perform necessary maintenance.
• Manage polishing workflow to maximize efficiency and output.
• Work with team members to coordinate production schedules.
• Adapt techniques as required for different materials such as metals, glass, and ceramics.
• Track usage of materials and report shortages for timely replenishment.
• Assist in developing best practices for polishing and finishing processes.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss ongoing production challenges and improvements.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification or training in machining and finishing preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment
