Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Veterinarian to join our team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to pets, including health assessments, diagnostics, and treatment plans. You will work closely with pet owners to educate them about their pets' health needs and ensure exceptional care.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patients and perform diagnostic tests.
  • Create and implement vaccination schedules for pets.
  • Oversee the surgical process from preparation to recovery.
  • Advise pet owners on nutrition and lifestyle choices for optimal health.
  • Research new treatment protocols and veterinary advancements.
  • Work collaboratively to improve clinic procedures and policies.
  • Assist in managing clinic inventory and supplies.
  • Attend professional development workshops and seminars.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine
  • Postgraduate degree in Veterinary Surgery is an advantage
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a veterinary clinic setting
