Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team in Durban. In this role, you will focus on delivering exceptional care to patients, administering medications, and educating patients and their families about their health conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient conditions and implement prescribed interventions.
• Monitor patients during treatment and address any issues.
• Serve as a health advocate for patients and ensure their needs are met.
• Document all patient interactions and care given accurately.
• Participate in community health programs and outreach.
• Support a culture of safety by adhering to infection control practices.
• Mentor and orient new nursing staff and students.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing

Experience

• At least 3 years of experience in a hospital environment

Certifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Nurse Practitioner Certification: Certification in advanced nursing practice.
