As a Construction Site Manager in Durban, you will oversee all aspects of construction projects, driving quality and efficiency. Your leadership will be vital in coordinating subcontractors, managing site safety, and ensuring all work is completed to specification and within budget constraints.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the construction team on-site to ensure project goals are met.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to interpret plans and specifications.
• Monitor material deliveries and usage, ensuring they align with project schedules.
• Implement best practices for site safety and encourage a safety-first culture.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior staff and subcontractors.
• Liaise with local authorities and stakeholders regarding project compliance.
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections.
• Analyze project risks and develop mitigation strategies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field
• Postgraduate qualification is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in construction management or site management
