We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our engineering team in Durban. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in mechanical design, analysis, and project management, contributing to various engineering projects while ensuring adherence to quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Execute engineering projects using best practices in mechanical design.
• Support project management in planning and executing engineering tasks.
• Work closely with manufacturing teams to facilitate production.
• Conduct root cause analysis for mechanical failures.
• Engage in peer reviews of engineering designs.
• Assist in the development of testing protocols.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Master's in a related field is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of practical experience in mechanical systems design

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• Finite Element Analysis

• Analytical Thinking
• Leadership

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
