Job Description

We are seeking a talented Architect to join our Johannesburg office. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design, excellent technical skills, and experience in delivering innovative architectural solutions. You will be responsible for managing projects from conceptual design through to completion, collaborating with clients and teams to realize their vision.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design process from concept to completion for various architectural projects.
• Conduct site assessments and prepare site plans.
• Collaborate with engineers and other specialists to ensure project feasibility.
• Prepare and present design proposals to clients and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and zoning regulations.
• Mentor junior architects and interns within the team.
• Utilize CAD software to produce detailed architectural drawings.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or relevant field
• Master's degree is highly desirable

Experience

• 5+ years in design and construction management

Technical Skills

• SketchUp
• Project Management Software

Certifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP)
• RICS Qualified

Languages

• English: Fluent
• isiZulu: Basic
