Job Description

We are seeking a talented Landscape Architect to join our team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscape design, project management, and sustainable practices. You will be responsible for conceptualizing and executing landscape projects that enhance the aesthetic and ecological value of outdoor spaces.

Responsibilities

  • Create innovative landscape design concepts and specifications.
  • Analyze and interpret environmental data in project planning.
  • Oversee project implementation and ensure quality control.
  • Liaise with governmental bodies regarding permits and approvals.
  • Develop maintenance plans for completed projects.
  • Lead community outreach initiatives to promote sustainable practices.
  • Assist in the preparation of grant applications for funding opportunities.
  • Mentor junior staff and interns in landscape architecture practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture or Environmental Design
Experience
  • 3+ years of professional landscape architecture experience
