Responsibilities

• Deliver personal care services to clients in accordance with their care plans.
• Build trusting relationships with clients to enhance their well-being.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed.
• Monitor and document clients' health status and report to the supervisor.
• Assist with transportation to appointments and social activities.
• Engage clients in meaningful conversation to promote mental health.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed during care activities.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided.
• Coordinate with family members to support client care.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of certified HHA training program

Experience

• Prior experience in elderly care is highly desirable

Technical Skills

• First Aid and CPR
• Medication Administration

Soft Skills

• Patience
• Problem-solving

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in palliative care: Skills in providing support and care for clients with terminal illnesses.
