Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems, performing analyses, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and evaluate mechanical systems and processes.
• Utilize FEA (Finite Element Analysis) to optimize design performance.
• Work with suppliers for sourcing materials and components.
• Document engineering processes and maintain records according to quality standards.
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure project compliance with industry regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar field
• Professional certifications in engineering preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant engineering experience

• Prototyping

Certifications

• Certified Manufacturing Engineer (CMfgE)
• Lean Manufacturing Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
