Pet Groomer

Job Description

As a Pet Groomer at Pawfect Grooming Co., you'll be responsible for providing high-quality grooming services to a variety of pets. If you love animals and have grooming experience, we want you! Your role will involve bathing, trimming, and styling pets to ensure they leave our salon looking their very best.

Responsibilities

• Wash, dry and groom various breeds of dogs and cats.
• Maintain a tidy grooming station and equipment.
• Communicate with pet owners regarding grooming options.
• Monitor pets throughout the grooming process for any signs of stress.
• Instruct pet owners on after-care practices.
• Participate in ongoing training to improve skills.
• Assist in retail sales of pet products.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in pet grooming preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of grooming experience preferred

Technical Skills

• Clipping and Styling
• Knowledge of Pet breeds

Soft Skills

• Team Player
• Attention to Detail

Advantageous

• First Aid Certification: Certification in pet first aid and CPR is preferred.
• Experience with diverse breeds: Ability to groom both common and exotic pet breeds.
