Retail Manager

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a dynamic Retail Manager in Cape Town to oversee our retail operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in retail management, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for enhancing customer service.

Responsibilities

• Lead the retail team in achieving sales targets and KPIs.
• Develop and implement training programs for team members.
• Conduct regular staff meetings to motivate and engage the team.
• Optimize store layout and inventory display to enhance customer flow.
• Coordinate with supply chain management to ensure timely stock replenishment.
• Monitor competitor activities and market trends to stay competitive.
• Prepare reports on store performance and present them to the management team.
• Initiate community engagement activities to enhance brand visibility.
• Maintain health and safety standards within the store.
• Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize shrinkage.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Retail Management or related field
• MBA is preferable

Experience

• 7+ years of experience in leading retail teams

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Fluent
