Job Description

Join us as a General Practitioner in Pretoria, where you will be responsible for comprehensive patient assessments and implementing effective treatment plans. You will work closely with a fantastic interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal healthcare outcomes for our patients, all while maintaining the best practices in patient health management.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct diagnostic tests and interpret results accurately.
  • Offer counseling and support for patients and families.
  • Collaborate in clinical audits and quality improvement processes.
  • Research and stay updated on new treatments and practices.
  • Engage with the local community for health workshops.
  • Manage patient referrals and follow-ups.
  • Provide leadership to nursing and support staff.
  • Mentor junior medical professionals and interns.
  • Advocate for public health initiatives and awareness campaigns.
  • Promote overall wellness by addressing mental and physical health.

Requirements

Education
  • MBChB and specialization in Family Medicine is advantageous
  • Fellowship or related qualification is preferred
Experience
  • 3-5 years of post-registration experience in a similar role
