Job Description

We are looking for a Landscape Architect who is passionate about sustainability and design. Your role will involve creating and implementing landscape designs that contribute to the aesthetic and environmental quality of various projects in Cape Town.

Responsibilities

  • Create innovative and sustainable landscape designs according to client specifications.
  • Conduct research on landscape suitability and plant selection.
  • Engage with community stakeholders to incorporate their feedback into designs.
  • Utilize CAD software for drafting and visualizing designs.
  • Assist in preparation of project reports and documentation.
  • Mentor junior landscape designers and interns.
  • Ensure compliance with local zoning laws and environmental regulations.
  • Participate in client meetings to discuss project progress.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture
  • Master's degree in a related field is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in landscape design and urban planning
Technical Skills
  • Adobe Creative Suite
  • Landscape design software

Certifications
  • Sustainable Landscape Design Certification
Languages
  • English: Fluent
