Job Description

As a Clinical Psychologist with our organization, you will utilize your expertise to assess psychological conditions and deliver high-quality treatment to clients. Your role will be integral to fostering mental health and resilience within our community.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and diagnose psychological disorders.
  • Provide individual, group, and family therapies.
  • Monitor clients’ mental health and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
  • Engage with stakeholders regarding client wellbeing.
  • Train and supervise intern psychologists and support staff.
  • Participate in community health initiatives and awareness campaigns.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices in mental health care.
  • Address social, emotional, and behavioral difficulties in clients.
  • Complete and file necessary insurance documentation.
  • Contribute to the development of mental health programs.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's or Doctorate in Clinical Psychology
  • Registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa
Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a clinical setting
