Pharmacy Assistant

Job Description

As a Pharmacy Assistant at Pharmacy Solutions, you will play a key role in supporting pharmacists and ensuring efficient pharmacy operations. You will engage with customers, assist in managing inventory, and help in the preparation of prescriptions.

Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison between customers and pharmacists to ensure the best service.
• Prepare and label prescription medications under supervision.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels to reduce waste.
• Provide health advice and promote wellness products.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the pharmacy area.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by the pharmacist.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12/Matric or equivalent
• Certificate in Pharmacy Assistance is advantageous

Experience

• 1-2 years of experience in a retail pharmacy environment preferred
