Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Legal Advisor to join our dynamic team in Kimberley. As a Legal Advisor, you will provide expert legal advice and support on a range of issues, ensuring that our clients receive the best possible guidance in navigating legal challenges. Your role will involve drafting legal documents, advising on compliance matters, and representing clients in negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Perform due diligence and legal audits for clients.
• Advise on employment law matters, including contracts and compliance.
• Represent the firm in meetings with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
• Prepare reports and legal opinions as needed.
• Support the implementation of compliance programs.
• Stay informed on industry trends and best practices in legal advisory.
• Facilitate workshops to educate clients on legal obligations.
• Advise on risk management strategies in legal matters.

Requirements

Education

• LLM or equivalent advanced legal degree
• Specialization in Corporate Law or Compliance is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in corporate law or compliance roles

• Compliance Certification Board (CCB)
