Responsibilities

  • Evaluate animal patients and determine their health needs.
  • Implement treatment plans and monitor progress.
  • Conduct surgeries and emergency procedures as required.
  • Educate pet owners on best practices for pet care.
  • Foster a compassionate environment for patients and clients alike.
  • Keep up-to-date with veterinary research and developments.
  • Assist in veterinary outreach programs to promote animal welfare.
  • Supervise and train support staff and junior veterinarians.
  • Communicate effectively with clients regarding their pets’ health.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine or equivalent
  • Master's degree preferred
Experience
  • At least 4 years in veterinary medicine, preferably in a clinical setting
