As a Restaurant Manager in our Durban branch, you will lead the team to provide an outstanding dining experience. You will manage the restaurant's day-to-day operations, including staff training, budgeting, and customer relations.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily restaurant operations and ensure standards of food, service, and hygiene are met.
Manage, train, and mentor staff to foster a positive and productive work environment.
Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
Monitor inventory and manage supplies, ensuring cost-effective purchasing.
Handle customer complaints and feedback to maintain high service standards.
Coordinate events and promotions to increase restaurant visibility.
Prepare financial reports and budgets in collaboration with the operations director.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Work with kitchen staff to maintain food quality and presentation.
Promote a culture of teamwork and accountability.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field
Additional certifications in Restaurant Management or Culinary Arts are a plus
Experience
3+ years of experience in restaurant management or a supervisory role in a restaurant environment
