Job Description

As a Restaurant Manager in our Durban branch, you will lead the team to provide an outstanding dining experience. You will manage the restaurant's day-to-day operations, including staff training, budgeting, and customer relations.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily restaurant operations and ensure standards of food, service, and hygiene are met.
  • Manage, train, and mentor staff to foster a positive and productive work environment.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
  • Monitor inventory and manage supplies, ensuring cost-effective purchasing.
  • Handle customer complaints and feedback to maintain high service standards.
  • Coordinate events and promotions to increase restaurant visibility.
  • Prepare financial reports and budgets in collaboration with the operations director.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Work with kitchen staff to maintain food quality and presentation.
  • Promote a culture of teamwork and accountability.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field
  • Additional certifications in Restaurant Management or Culinary Arts are a plus
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in restaurant management or a supervisory role in a restaurant environment
