UX/UI Designer

Job Description

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented UX/UI Designer to join our Durban team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing intuitive and engaging user interfaces across our digital platforms. This role requires an understanding of user-centered design principles, usability testing, and a passion for enhancing user experiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design process from concept to completion for various projects.
• Conduct A/B testing to optimize user experience.
• Gather and analyze user feedback to improve existing products.
• Design responsive interfaces that work seamlessly across devices.
• Mentor junior designers and provide constructive feedback on their work.
• Facilitate design workshops and presentations to stakeholders.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Design or related field
• Master's degree in Design now a bonus

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in UX/UI design

Technical Skills

• Adobe XD
• InVision

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail
• Effective communication

Certifications

• Interaction Design Foundation Certificate
• Nielsen Norman Group UX Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in frontend development: Basic knowledge of JavaScript frameworks is a plus.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating design skills: Showcase of previous work that reflects design process and creativity.
