Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Pharmacist to join our dedicated team in Port Elizabeth. In this role, you will dispense prescriptions, counsel patients, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective medication management.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and prescribe medications for chronic conditions
  • Advise on lifestyle changes to enhance medication efficacy
  • Conduct medication therapy reviews for patients
  • Develop patient-specific medication plans
  • Engage in continuing professional development and training
  • Work with multidisciplinary teams on patient cases
  • Supervise pharmacy operational processes to ensure safety
  • Participate in budget management and cost-effective purchasing
  • Provide emergency first aid as required
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives in the pharmacy

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Pharmacy or related field is preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in clinical pharmacy
