Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer to join our Cape Town team. In this role, you will be pivotal in designing and supervising construction projects, ensuring they meet safety regulations and standards. You will be collaborating with architects, construction teams, and clients to deliver innovative engineering solutions that adhere to timelines and budgets.

Responsibilities

  • Design and analyze various structural elements and systems.
  • Collaborate with architects and other engineers to develop project concepts.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications.
  • Create detailed drawings and specifications for construction.
  • Perform structural calculations and assessments.
  • Work with project managers to develop project timelines and budgets.
  • Oversee construction activities to ensure adherence to designs.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Master's degree preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in structural engineering
