Responsibilities

• Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and families.
• Participate in training and mentorship of junior nursing staff.
• Assist with the management of nursing supplies and equipment.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Participate in continuing education to enhance nursing competencies.

Requirements

Education

• Registered Nursing Diploma
• Bachelor’s degree is an advantage

Experience

• Minimum 2-4 years of nursing experience, preferably in a hospital setting

Technical Skills

• Medication administration
• Emergency response

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Sesotho: Conversational

Advantageous

• Experience with electronic health record systems: Familiarity with EHR systems for patient documentation and record keeping.
