CNC Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Technician to join our manufacturing team in Durban. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating CNC machines, ensuring high-quality production standards, and maintaining equipment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions.
• Implement continuous improvement practices within the production line.
• Work closely with quality assurance teams to ensure product standards.
• Maintain accurate records of production runs and machine performance.

Requirements

Education

• N5 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Trade certification as CNC Operator is an advantage

Experience

• 4+ years in CNC operations or related experience

Technical Skills

• CNC Machine Setup
• CAD/CAM Software

Soft Skills

• Communication
• Adaptability

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with multi-axis CNC machines: Hands-on experience operating and programming multi-axis CNC machines.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Principles: Understanding of efficiency techniques to streamline production processes.
