E-commerce Manager

Job Description

We are searching for a highly motivated E-commerce Manager to oversee our online sales strategy in Durban. The successful candidate will lead our digital marketing efforts, manage our online store, and optimise customer experiences, driving sales growth and enhancing brand loyalty.

Responsibilities

• Lead the e-commerce team in executing operational plans.
• Evaluate and optimise the user experience on the website.
• Monitor and report on e-commerce metrics and KPIs.
• Collaborate with IT and design teams to improve the online platform.
• Manage customer service issues related to online sales.
• Develop strategies for customer retention and loyalty programs.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or related field
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in e-commerce management or digital marketing

Technical Skills

• SEO/SEM
• E-commerce Platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce)

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Analytical Thinking

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Google Analytics: Ability to utilise Google Analytics for data-driven decision-making.
• Familiarity with Email Marketing Tools: Experience with platforms like Mailchimp or Constant Contact for email campaigns.
